Our town house is in a gated development near the river in the area known as Riverside Cambridge; set back from a quiet road. Not overlooked and backing onto a museum. Two park areas close by, one with a large public swimming pool. Bicycles are available for rides to the city centre and colleges (10mins by bike or 15 min walk). A large supermarket is 5 min walk away.
Cambridge is a historic city built around the University colleges. It offers museums, art galleries, pubs full of character, a dynamic theatre, and Shakespeare or opera in college grounds during the summer. There are numerous restaurants, cafés and plenty of opportunities for shopping. There are many private colleges offering English courses.
