Lovely, substantial family house in an attractive area of Bristol, on a quiet street, but only 10 minute walk to city centre, one minute walk to shops, pub and restaurant.

The house has a large kitchen / diner, large living room with open fire and Netflix TV, three double bedrooms (one en suite), plus a big study with double sofa-bed that can be a fourth bedroom. It has a large bathroom with walk-in shower and underfloor heating. Outside, there is a small garden with lawn and a few fruit trees, and a decking area to sit out and enjoy afternoon sun.

About the location

The immediate neighbourhood has two small shops, two quiet pubs, a restaurant, coffee shop and take-away, church, gym, small child`s play park and bus stops. Five minutes walk further is a small supermarket, a larger play park, and the nearest local train station.

Central Bristol is within easy walking distance, with the harbour, museums, theatres, cathedral, shopping and nightlife.

Short trip across the city to Clifton (with its 19th century suspension bridge built by Isambard Kingdom Brunel, boutique shopping and cafes), and over the bridge to Ashton Court (park, mini golf, outdoor events such as the balloon fiesta in August).

Easy access by bus, car or train to world heritage city of Bath (spa, roman baths, amazing architecture), Weston-Super-Mare and Clevedon (seaside), Portishead (lido), Cardiff and South Wales including Brecon Beacons, the Cotswolds and Mendip hills, Stonehenge, Glastonbury, Salisbury, and fast, direct trains / motorway to London (90 mins).
