Danish Lake District
We have a large and well-positioned house in the Danish Lake District, one of Denmark's best tourist areas. We have a spacious partly covered outside terrace facing south and south-west (so gets the afternoon and evening sun) overlooking a large garden with many mature trees, plus distant hills and "Sky Mountain".
We live in a lovely small town, Ry, on a railway line half an hour to Denmark's second city of Aarhus, and with easy connection to Copenhagen with Tivoli about 3 hours by train as a great day out as the track passes over spectacular bridges between islands.
Our house is also 10 mins drive to the motorway system and one hour to Legoland. The Danish Lakes is the best place in Denmark for short and long walks, river and lake activities, and a great deal to do for all the family.
