Lovely 3 Bed home in Otterup, Denmark

in 2014 we have our summer holiday in July and first week of August. At that time we can offer you our home simultaneous.

We are living on a island in the middle of Denmark. The name on the island is "Fyn" We are living on the northside - 13 km from Odense. Odense is the 3'rd biggest town in Denmark, with a population around 200.000. It's an old city dated 1000 year ago. So the history is very large. It's also the birth town of Hans Christian Andersen - the famous fairytale writer. So there is a lot of museums and old houses from that period. The island and whole Denmark is full of old castles - specially on this island and the surrounding of Copenhagen.

We are living in a very small city calles "Lunde", with only a few hundred citizens, on the country with lots of farms and fresh air. But again Denmark is very small. Copenhagen is 2 hour drive away - the Atlantic ocean 3 hours away - Germany 2 hours away and Sweden 2 hours away. So it's not like in Australia...:)

We have a Peugeot 206 HDI only one year old - you can use while you?re here. It's very economic, quick and easy to use.

We are living close to the sea. (8 km) - Denmark has a lot of islands (over 450 namegiven) - so we have a lot of costliness.

Denmark is the oldest kingdom in the world and all Danes are very proud of our Queen and her family. So you will find Denmark very cultural on that matter. The Danes are very kind, patience and open.

The weather in Denmark us very dependent on the warm gulfstream in the Atlantic ocean. So our winter is very mild. It's not that often that we have snow, but only 5 hours drive from here, you can go skiing in Sweden.

The summer usually is a mix of very nice weather and a little rain. We have winter now in December - February and the summer starts in June to August.
