The property has 2 buildings, the one offered is the 4 bedroom cottage; the other is the barn, occupied by owner some of the time, a retired Irish woman, 70, who speaks perfect French & has lived in the area for over 20 years. A calm place to escape, walk and explore the Normandy countryside.

Forests are a 10 min drive away, pretty local villages, excellent for cycling, canoeing, horse-riding, local cuisine. Other places to visit include: huge forest near Alencon; Roche d'Oetre national park; Haras du Pin historic stud; The D-Day beaches & Bayeaux Tapestry are an hour's drive. There are excellent small brocantes and antique dealers in the area we can show you how to get to.
