A one-bedroom apartment (925 square feet) that sleeps 5 in an excellent location. Only a 10 minute walk to the NYC Botanical Gardens, a 20-minute rapid transit ride to 42nd St. the Grand Central Station in the heart of Manhattan, and a short walk to subways traveling to both east and west.

We love our city apartment in a working class community located in the North Bronx. It is filled with low buildings, parks, private houses, and lots of transportation. A near-by college has many musical performances. Montefiore Hospital, a public library, post office, places for walking, and grocery stores, and restaurants are within walking distances.

Manhattan filled with museums, theatre, dance, opera, music, and the excitement that is Manhattan is twenty to forty minutes away by rapid transit. Our closest airports are La Guardia and Kennedy.

Or, visit the Hudson Valley, seventy miles North of New York City. We could make arrangements so can spend time in our country two- family house north of Newburgh, New York, which sleeps six. Driving there, you will find apple orchards in season, hiking, rock climbing, and swimming in the Shawangunk Mountains, all to the north near the college town of New Paltz.

Near-by is the West Point Military Academy with views of the Hudson River, and Bear Mountain Park to the south. Or, just relax on our back deck and watch the view of rolling hills and birds eating from the feeder.
