Lovely 4 Bed home in Oakham, England

Our family home is set in a beautiful English village in the idyllic county of Rutland. Our house is newly renovated and very comfortable and suitable for parents with children. We have 2 double bedrooms and 2 further bedrooms which our children use with a single bed and a cot. Our garden is quite big and private with a gate so kids can't run off and the summer house has lighting and a deck so you can sit with a glass of wine in the evening. We have plenty of toys and outdoor ride-on tractors and cars for small children.
The village of Whissendine (with approx.1300 inhabitants) has a Church, a lovely playground for children and a very well stocked village shop. There are lots of lovely walks around the village and to nearby villages. A 7min drive away is the lovely market town of Oakham which has a weekly market on a Wednesday and lots of pretty, independent shops.

The gorgeous and historic town of Stamford (recently voted the best town to live in the UK) is a 15min drive away and has a host of beautiful boutique shops, lovely restaurants and stunning period buildings.

Rutland Water is a major attraction during both the winter and the summer, a large lake with lots of walks and bike rides with cafes and picnic spots around.

Cambridge is 1hr10mins direct on the train from Oakham and London is approx 1hr45mins direct
