Lovely 2 Bed home in Houghton, England
Our apartment is part of a beautifully converted mansion in the idyllic, riverside village of Houghton (home to the National Trust Houghton Mill). We're just across the water from the pretty Hemingfords, just 2 miles from St Ives (which you can walk to via the pretty wooded riverside Thicket path), a 20 minute drive (or bus ride) to Cambridge and 4 miles to Huntingdon train station for 45 minute train to London. The mansion is set in six acres of beautiful lawn and woodland. Our ground floor apartment includes the beautiful conservatory you can see in the photos. (Hopefully you won't mind watering the plants in there for us). We're lucky to have such pretty and relaxing surroundings and defy anyone not to enjoy it.
