The town can be divided into 3 areas, the historical old town with a cathedral, the port area with a fish market and marina and also the arenal area with a sandy beach and a number of beachside restaurants. There are also 2 large natural parks beautiful for walks and a number of idyllic coves with small beaches offering great snorkelling and kayaking.
