17th century cotswold cottage home swap

Lechlade is a small town on the edge of the Cotswolds. Our stone house was built around 1660 and has beams and crooked floors and ceilings. It is cosy with good accommodation and a pleasant garden with greenhouse and large productive veggie patch. We can walk our terrier dog from the back door without a lead and the town has small supermarkets, good pubs and transport links to Oxford, Cirencester and Cheltenham, all within an hours drive away.

Our house is not smart but very cosy and comfortable. If you like country life with small town attractions I'm sure you would be happy. Enjoy putting your feet up on the squashy sofas, cooking in the old Aga and lighting the open fire after a pub lunch and a long walk in fabulous Cotswold countryside. That's what we enjoy! As we will probably not find people wanting to exchange in middle of winter we can offer our house for part of may when we will be in Scotland or the whole of october...hope this might work for you.

About the location

We are within an hour from Oxford, Bath, Cirencester and Cheltenham for good entertainment and tourism. The infant Thames is five minutes walk down a track and trains to London are 48 minutes from nearby Swindon.
