Our guest house is a beautifully appointed restful location located in Central California and is perfect for exploring many of the attractions California has to offer or can just be an incredible private getaway for rest and relaxation.
We are twenty minutes from Fresno, a one hour drive to Yosemite National Park, 3 hours to Disneyland and 3 hours to San Francisco. Kingsburg the city we live in is an quaint Swedish motif town. In the early 1870s, Swedish natives settled in a railroad town called "Kings River Switch"and in 1894 it took on its present spelling, "Kingsburg", which was finally established as a town in 1908.
By 1921, ninety-four percent of the population was Swedish-American, giving the community the nickname of "Little Sweden". Still to this day to keep up with the town's Swedish history most retail businesses are designed in Swedish architecture.
