Lovely 3 Bed home in Norwich, England

Our home is a part of an 18th century barn, converted in the 1980s. Situated overlooking woodland behind the University of East Anglia campus it combines a rural feel with immediate access to the city of Norwich and public transport, and a few minutes' walk from the Sainsbury Centre for the Visual Arts and the University.

The house is situated in a good sized private garden. Original beams feature throughout the house, which has well sized rooms, vaulted ceilings and wood burning stove. The master bedroom and ensuite are upstairs, overlooking the garden, with our two girls' rooms downstairs - one with twin bunks, the other with twin singles.

Norwich is one of England's finest provincial cities, with lots of historical buildings, such as the castle and cathedral and good museums, shopping, entertainment and restaurants.

The Norfolk Broads with their sailing, motor cruising and fishing are only a few miles away, as is the beautiful Norfolk coast.

There are good road and train links to London (1 hour 50 minutes) and Cambridge (an hour). It's an excellent base for exploring the beautiful East Anglian countryside.

We'll leave our bikes and small family car for your use.
