The Old Pub

Our place was a pub until about 15 yrs ago. It is is on 4 levels. In the newly renovated basement are 2 bedrooms with double beds, a TV room (with sofa bed), office and new shower room + utility area including large dryer and freezer. The basement has windows on 3 sides so has plenty of natural light and is nice and cool in the summer.

Ground floor. New kitchen/dining area opens on to the deck. Toilet. Living room with wood burner and piano.

First floor. 2 bedrooms with double beds (one is a small double) - one with en suite shower room. one single bedroom, plus bath/shower room.

Second floor. Child`s attic bedroom with large single/small double, plus a small box room with further single bed.

There is a parking area immediately outside the house which is usually available depending a bit on the time of day.

About the location

The Old Pub. Ideally situated for visiting both London and South coast / Brighton.

TW is a "historic spa town" (The Pantiles) which is an interesting place to wander around and good for shopping.

London Bridge/Waterloo/Charing Cross- 45 minutes by train. The South Bank area is 5 mins walk from Waterloo.

We live on edge of Rusthall common, so plenty of open space on doorstep. Bikes in the garage.

Great pubs, lovely walks (Weald way, Sussex Border path, S Downs Way, North Downs),historic houses,(Hever Castle, Penshurst Place) sandstone climbing (Harrisons rocks),Tonbridge open air pool, Bewl water , Bedgebury, Toad Rock `7 Wonders of the Weald` all close by. Brighton & beaches 45mins by car
