Lugano 15 kms away, motorway 10 mins away north to Zurich, south to Milan. 20 minutes from Italian border (good Italian hypermarket) and 30 minutes from Como. 40 minutes to Lake Maggiore, Swiss side Locarno/Ascona, Italian side Stresa, Isole Borromeo. Many interesting places to visit and good walking.
