Hi, we are Fiona (stay at home Mum) and Martin (Engineer) (both 50) and Tara (student) (17) from Western Australia and we are so excited to put our new house on Home Base Holidays. On offer is a NEWLY BUILT (Moved in July 2014) - 415sqm 4 bedroom/3 bathroom/2 extra wc double storey spacious home with fabulous river views, all mod cons, wii, xbox, tv's, dvd's, internet, piano, treadmill, reverse cycle aircon, table tennis table and heated 8 person spa with sensational Swan River views located in quiet cul de sac with fab transport to Perth city via train or bus. Upstairs is the kitchen and living and a huge balcony that can host a party! The main bedroom is also upstairs with kingsize bed, sliding door to the balcony with river views, lovely ensuite bathroom with a corner spa bath and a separate large shower and wc. Double walk-in robes. Downstairs another queensize bedroom also with river views with walk in robes, and large ensuite also a guest queen bed with bathroom. The other bedroom is currently our study but could add a bed in there if needed with plenty of room to spare. Also 2 cars available, Hyundai Sante Fe (7 seater) 2013 model and a VW Eos convertible 2007. Canoe, bikes, more beds if needed (probably could sleep 10). 15 minute walk into quaint Guildford town (restaurants, vintage shops, local theatre and the train station). Airport 10 mins away, Perth city 25 minute drive away, bus 2 min walk away, Swan Valley wine region 10 minute drive (also transport links for tours in Guildford), golf, cycle/walk paths, parks. Crown Casino is 15 minute drive with plenty of entertainment and theatre. Plenty of birdlife, fishing across the road. Great location and easy care house and garden (all reticulated). Just open the door and relax in a beautiful new home with everything at your fingertips. We also have a lovely holiday home in Dawesville (Mandurah) about 1 hour from Guildford - it sleeps 10, is also double storey and is in a complex that has a huge swimming pool and spa and bbq gazebo for all to use. About the location

We are 25 minutes drive from Perth city (cars available). Also on good transport links both bus and train. Perth Airport is 10 minutes away. So we are close to everything. Our house is located right on the Swan River in Guildford - beautiful natural bush spot. Guildford is a quaint little town with a village feel, it has bakeries, antique shops, secondhand bookshop, pub, restaurants, post office, etc. There is also the tourist bureau for all the information you will require during your stay. Good shopping is a 15 minute drive away with all the major stores/grocers etc. We are at the gateway to the Swan Valley and many tours leave from Guildford to explore our wine area, or you could hop on the river cruise from Perth which actually sails right past our house to the many wineries for lunch and wine tasting. We have a canoe to explore the river, bikes to use on the cycle path and if you want to fish - we can have that for you also! Then bring your catch home and chuck it on the barbie! (Weber Q and very civilised and easy to use). Guildford has a local Theatre which has productions on all year. The Casino is 15 minutes away and that has loads of entertainment. Guildford has a lovely heritage area which includes the old gaol and has a fabulous art centre with the Guildford Potters. There are walking tours you can take around Guildford that points out the local historical houses and places of interest. Plenty to do, or want to do nothing - all is here for you!!
