Lovely 2 Bed home in Bournemouth, England

This penthouse property has a 40 foot, triple aspect, roof terrace with a sea glimpse. It is 5 minutes walk to the beach and Boscombe Pier where you can see the Isle of Wight (the sunniest place in Britain) and the Isle of Purbeck. The return is uphill, so it's 10 minutes back! At the seafront there are cafes and restaurants, two surf schools and seven continuous miles of golden sandy beach.

We are 0.8 miles to the station and trains to Central London take an hour and a half.

Ample parking is available. You are welcome to borrow our bicycles (second hand, but suitable for cycling along the seafront) body boards, bucket and spades and a surfboard. RNLI lifeguards ensure the safety of the beach.

I use the Health Club at the Chine Hotel with its indoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and outdoor hot tub and swimming pool and gardens leading down to the beach. You can join on a daily basis.

Bournemouth town is less than 30 minutes walk along the seafront. The land train is optional and ideal for young children. There you will find an aquarium, two cinemas, two theatres, an excellent range of shops and restaurants to suit every taste and budget.

We are 15 minute's drive from the New Forest and walking distance from Hengistbury Head, a Site of Special Scientific Interest. Christchurch is beyond by river ferry.

By car it is 20 minutes to the chain ferry to Studland leading on to Swanage, Corfe Castle and the Jurassic Coast.

Other accessible attractions include Splashdown Water Park, Monkey World, Brownsea Island, Beaulieu Motor Museum and the Tank Museum. For younger children there is a playground with an innovative water feature (2 minutes walk) and the Peppa Pig Land train.
