Surrounding area is rural Derbyshire - one of the most beautiful counties in the UK but with excellent motorway and rail links to all the major cities in England - London is 2 hours by train.
We live in a 2 storey terraced 300 year-old cottage in a beautiful Derbyshire village. The cottage was extensively renovated in 2014 and has 3 bedrooms (1 queen and 2 singles) and a further bedroom (sofa bed) in the outside garden room which also doubles as a 2nd lounge/TV room. There is a good size kitchen/diner with all amenities and lounge with log burning stove. The house is centrally heated throughout and double glazed - lovely and warm in winter but cool in summer. There is a small back garden with patio which backs onto a field.
There is 1 car available for use - a Honda Jazz.
About the location
We are situated in the Derbyshire Dales, very close to the Peak District with Ashbourne, Buxton and Bakewell being our closest towns for all amenities.
