The New Town is a central area of Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland. It is often considered to be a masterpiece of city planning, and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was built in stages between 1765 and around 1850, and retains much of the original neo-classical and Georgian period architecture.
This is our second home as we live in a nearby village in East Lothian some of the time. We also have keys to the central garden, one of Edinburgh New Town's beautifully kept enclosed, shared gardens which is located right outside the front of the property. This flat is located moments from all Edinburgh's main attractions, castle, galleries and shopping. You can walk into the centre and Edinburgh's famous Princes Street and George Street for shopping, restaurants and bars in just 5 minutes on foot.
