Home with lovely views - Cotswold

EXCHANGE REQUESTS FULFILLED FOR 2024
Our house has three bedrooms, two doubles and a small single with a spare mattress. There is a shower room upstairs and a second toilet/shower in the utility downstairs. The large living room has a cosy wood burner, TV with Netflix and decent wifi. The dining area seats 4-6 and the conservatory off the living room also has a small table with a great view. The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher and range cooker and the laundry/utility is handy for dirty boots and dogs! Steps from the conservatory lead down the garden (three sets of steps) to a summer house, BBQ and decking area. There is a large lawn with trampoline and swings/slide and a separate vegetable garden.
We do have a small well behaved dog (except for chasing cats!) and would like to bring her with us in the UK sometimes. She does not shed hair and sleeps downstairs. Your dog would be very welcome as long as they don`t venture upstairs or sleep on the beds. There is off road parking for two cars.

About the location

We are located in the lovely market town of Stroud in the south Cotswolds. Our house is a 10-12 minute walk to town. It is down a long hill so allow extra time coming back up! We are about a 20 minute drive from the M5 which takes you to Bristol in 40 minutes or 20 minutes to Gloucester, and 30 to Cheltenham. There is a local bus service and also a station in Stroud with direct trains to London Paddington in 90 minutes. Stroud offers many independent shops and an award winning weekly farmers market. There are numerous pubs and restaurants, a museum, cinema, theatre and music venues. We find something happening most nights of the week to suit all tastes.

Situated in the five valleys with beautiful countryside all around, there are lots of waymarked walks including the well known Cotswold way. From the house walks can be taken along Laurie Lee`s beloved Slad valley and there are nearby woods ideal for exercising the dog without getting the car out.
