My home is a detached mid-Victorian cottage in a small village. Pop: 5,130.
I'm 100 yards from the countryside, but also just a mile from the M54, which links to the M6 motorway.

I work from home, one bedroom has been converted to an office - so PC, 24/7 internet and printer are available.

Albrighton train station is yards away, and it's 40 minutes to Birmingham, and thence two hours to London or an hour to Stratford on Avon.

Shropshire and mid-Wales offer many scenic/walking options, including Ironbridge (birthplace of the Industrial Revolution), and golf courses.

I have an excellent plasma TV-Blu-ray home theatre set-up, and an equally good hi-fi, if you're staying in, and a private garden and patio, with bird-song, if you're mulling over your travel options.
