Three storey canal side townhouse with accommodation up to 10 people plus junior bed and travel cot

Our house is on a small modern canalside development, 10 minute walk from Stonehouse town and station: trains to Gloucester, Cheltenham, Swindon and London.

The house is on three storeys, toilet on each floor, with a conservatory and small garden. The kitchen and one single bedroom, with a piano and desk is on the ground floor. Two double bedrooms, one with en-suite shower and an ideal family bedroom with space for a junior bed and travel cot, which we have these if you would like us to get them out for your stay on the first floor. Family bathroom, one double bedroom with sofa. one single bedroom and an office with dining table and four chairs on the top floor. There is a fully fitted gym in our conservatory; treadmill, cross trainer, rower, bike, weights, stepper and ab bench. Our kitchen is our family room with a large table and breakfast bar. We have a washing machine but no tumble drier. We`ve swapped our dishwasher for an under counter freezer, so we`ve gone back to manual washing up.

About the location

Stroud, with its supermarkets and shops, is 3 miles away. We often walk in along the towpath of the Stroudwater Canal; there is parking for shopping. We are close to Slimbridge Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust, Berkeley Castle, Westonbirt Arboretum, Gliding at Aston Down and Nympsfield, Saul Junction canal boat rides, Gloucester Docks, Cirencester (the heart of the Cotswolds), GWR at Cheltenham Racecourse. We`re just off M5 Junction 13; 30 minutes north of Bristol, so shopping at Cribbs Causeway is really convenient.
