Clapton, Hackney

Our Victorian end-of-terrace is in a vibrant, diverse part of London. It has a recently refurbed, very large, glass-roofed kitchen which is bathed in light & opens out onto a small sunny garden with a `pizza bar`, table and chairs and fire pit. Downstairs there is also a shower room (with toilet), a laundry room, a study (with a double sofa bed) and a comfy lounge which is home to plenty of instruments, including a piano.

The main bathroom is on the first floor (along with a separate toilet), with a small single bedroom and a large master bedroom which is sunny in the morning. On the second floor there is another large kids room with a folding pool table and a high bed, and a smaller single room which gets glorious evening sunlight.

About the location

The neighbourhood of Clapton is our "village" - with cafes on the corner, pop up galleries & shops, & a fabulous pub 2 mins walk away. It`s 10mins walk to the canal, nature reserve and Hackney Marshes, 20mins to the new Olympic Park. Restaurants, community arts venues, cinemas, ice skating, theatre, horse riding all easily accessible. A vibrant street market is one block away every Sunday.

The Overground station (7 minutes walk) means we`re 20mins by train away from central London (Euston) and buses run to the end of the road 24/7. It`s diverse, with reportedly 89 languages spoken in the Borough; it`s arty, with over 600 artists studios, and totally the best bit of London!
