Late Victorian semi-detached Cambridge family home

In Cambridge you can visit the 800 year old University, the many museums and galleries, go punting on the River Cam, see Shakespeare performed in the College gardens in Summer and visit stately homes, parks and gardens in the near vicinity.

We live in the friendly Mill Road neighbourhood of the city with its many international shops and cafes. Our house is adjacent to a children's play park and is a 15 minute walk to Cambridge station for a 45 min train journey to Central London.

Good public transport links, cycle friendly city (you could borrow our bicycles) Stansted Airport is 30 minutes away.

Our home is a family home, with one double bedroom and two single children's bedrooms (both children's beds open out to doubles), two bathrooms, a large living room and a kitchen/diner overlooking our 100 foot garden. We recently rebuilt our kitchen and added a wet room downstairs. It is homely and is filled with books, toys and craft projects.

About the location

We love the area we live in. We live off Mill Road in Cambridge which is a long street filled with independent small shops, cafes and restaurants. You can eat Italian, Indian, Korean, Bedouin, Chinese, Lebanese and English food. There are some good pubs and the street takes you to the centre of the city. It is the most friendly and diverse part of Cambridge.
