Kendal family home
Our 4 bedroom, detached house is near to the centre of Kendal in a quiet location and having a small field behind it and another field in front. There is a garden in front with a decked seating area, terrace and small fish pond at the front and another garden at the back. There is a lovely view from the front of the house across old Kendal, St. Thomas Church and to Benson Knott fell in the distance.
Shops, restaurants, a lovely park and the river Kent are a few minutes walk away. The Lake District can be reached by car, bus or train, (Windermere in about 15 minutes, Ambleside 20 minutes). Inside, the house is well decorated and comfortable with gas central heating and a "combi" boiler for instant hot water. The house (was a bungalow, now with a nice extension into the loft, 4th bedroom futon bed) is in a great location near the centre of Kendal, but it feels like we are in a village in the country.
About the location
Just outside the Lake District National Park. Thriving town, fantastic views, lovely garden.
