Lovely 4 Bed home in New Radnor, Wales

Cwm Broadwell House is in a large private valley surrounded by trees and forest. We have a holiday cottage across the valley, but the houses are far enough apart to maintain peace and quiet and ensure total privacy.

It is a short strole to the village with friendly pub, shop, tennis courts and playing fields in New Radnor. There are numerous other local pubs and restaurants including http://www.harpinnradnor.co.uk

The hills are wonderful for walking, cycling and bird watching. New Radnor is half way down the Welsh English border and surrounded by great local towns such as Hay on Wye http://www.hay-on-wye.co.uk and Ludlow http://www.ludlow.org.uk/ with galleries, craft shops and markets.

Near by horse riding, golf, canooing, fishing,luxury spa and gym.

Cwm broadwell House is very large and comfortably accommodates up to 8 persons. The sitting room has fantastic views,high ceiling and wood burner, large TV and DVD. Patio doors lead out to wooden decking.

The kitchen has a rayburn cooker; large range gas/ electric cooker, larder fridge, dishwasher, microwave. Seperate larder with washing machine and freezer. All the bedrooms are genrous in size. 2 Double beds, 2 single beds and another which can be a 2 singles or linked together. 2 bathrooms: one with bath, loo and basin, the other is a wet room with shower, loo, basin and 2 person sauna.

The house has a large patio area with a BBQ and picnic table and steps leading through the garden up to a lawn.

Ben is a furniture maker, now also running a small micro brewery, 'Radnorshire Ales' and Sally runs the holiday letting business. We have two daughters, one is 23 and studying to be a solicitor and the other 21, a university student. We have a cat who lives outside during the summer but would need feeding. A car would be needed here and we could offer our car as part of the exchange, bicycles can be rented locally and delivered to the door.
