Our thatched cottage is a detached 17th century 4 bedroom house in a quiet lane with beautiful views over fields. There is an art studio and a music studio up the garden. Almost one entire wall of the house is taken by a comprehensive library.
We're a short walk to the excellent High St of Tisbury, with its
well-stocked deli & friendly pubs. There's a main-line train station in the village, many wonderful walks & a great number of historically interesting buildings, such as Wardour Castle, Springhead Gardens. Tisbury is 25m from the city of Salisbury. Bath is 45m,Stonehenge and Longleat Safari Park are nearby. London is about 2h away by motorway or train. It is a 10 minute walk to the village swimming pool and leisure centre.
