Lovely 2 Bed home in La Torre Golf Resort, Roldan, Spain

Airy and bright west-facing apartment overlooking pool and golf course on 5-star spa and golf resort. Beautifully located for afternoon and evening sun on either of our covered outside terraces. We love planning our day on our bedroom balconies, listening to the birdsong.

The resort has 16 swimming pools to choose from as well as tennis courts and small kids play areas. There's a well stocked supermarket, a lovely clubhouse, cocktail bar, 5 star hotel with spa and gym, a wide variety of bars and restaurants on resort, but it's also minutes to local facilities by car.

The beautiful Costa Calida coastline is 15 minutes away, where you can enjoy free mud baths, sail, swim, surf, sunbathe, stroll, salsa or siesta! The Mar Menor and La Manga beaches are within a 15 minute drive. There are many scuba diving activities on the coast or you could go inland and try quad biking and hiking in the national parks, or exploring tapas trails and some of Murcia's cultural highlights. The waterfront Roman city of Cartagena is a must see, as is the wonderful cathedral city of Murcia. There are big shopping complexes within 20 minutes if you crave some retail therapy. Alternatively, just chill out in our apartment resting on the sun loungers or eating an al fresco meal overlooking the pool.

The Costa Calida has a year long mild climate and Murcia offers many things to do and see all year round.

Please note that our apartment is NOT available from mid July to the end of August 2013, as that's when we use it!
