Snug end of terrace home near the sea

Our home is a comfortable 3 storey end of terrace Edwardian house in a quiet residential street in the heart of Poole, Dorset. We are 1 min walk from the amenities of Poole High Street whilst also being 3 mins walk from the sea with beautiful views across Poole Harbour.

It consists of 4 bedrooms - 1 double (queen sized bed), & 3 singles (one of which is a folding bed but very comfortable). Downstairs we have a modern kitchen joining onto the dining room (equipped with cosy woodburner), and a separate lounge. Our sunny south facing garden has a patio for outdoor eating and a snug garden room for creativity and contemplation.

We have done 3 house exchanges in the last couple of years and have come to really appreciate this approach to holidays. We have references from past exchange families if needed.

About the location

Our home is a great base for exploring the stunning coastline and countryside of Dorset and the Jurassic coast. Dorset is renowned for its beauty and outdoor lifestyle - there's loads to do and see – for more info see www.pooletourism.com. We have a double ocean kayak which can be launched from the end of the road and a couple of bikes. We are 5 minutes walk from Poole train station with easy train (and car) access to other nearby towns/cities/regions: New Forest (30 mins), Salisbury (1 hour), Winchester (1 hour), Southampton (4o mins), London (2 hrs 30 mins), Bournemouth (10 mins).
