Lovely 2 Bed home in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa

We are offering our home as a low rental opportunity over the South African summer period, as we will be travelling in SA at this time.

A second option is we will be travelling in the UK btw April and August 2014 and would be open to offers for people whom this scenario might work for, ie you use ours, we take a 'rain chequeand then we use yours (even if its the use of a caravan or - anywhere btw that time)

We dont live in a typical African setting, whatever that may be, we live in an English village like setting, even the name comes from the UK, Hilton. See this site which is where we live in the heart of the rural midlands. http://www.midlandsmeander.co.za/ Our home is 3 mins away from village where you will find all you need. It has a few local pubs and 2 hotels. Its a place people walk dogs and ride bikes etc in the afternoon and enjoy the sunny days sometimes hot 35c and sometimes cooler 25c but always sunny. We live here cos its based in a agricultural area with lots of craft / coffee shops and amazing views but essentially cos its central to the World heritage Drakensberg Mtns 50 mins by car - open road (no traffic issues) and 40 mins to the beaches amongst the best in SA, safe, sandy and easy to swim in. Plenty of shopping nearby and big malls en route to the beach. People here are friendly and will be interested in where you have come from and generally like to chat.

Its considered the adventure sport mecca for those that want to take up mtn biking / sailing / hang gliding / hiking. There are no shortage of activities but what we like is that - we dont know what crowds are here (Iv been to the lake District - the area is similar). We are very willing to offer travel advice for the area/country.
