Harringay Green Lanes - North London

Our home is a typical London Victorian terrace. We have a sunny kitchen/diner with doors opening onto a 45ft south facing garden with 3 fruit trees,swing seat and trampoline. There are plenty of books/activities in the house to suit older boys and girls.

We are a teacher and a builder/carpenter with 12 year old twin boys.

About the location

Harringay is a multi-cultural, bustling area but our street is really quiet and we have very friendly neighbours. We have lived here for many years. Green Lanes is 2 mins walk - it is a hub of the Turkish community full of great bakeries (one featured on the Great British Bake-Off!), cafes and restaurants. Excellent transport links to central London - 2 London Overground stations, buses and Manor House tube station on Piccadilly Line all within 10 min walk. Hampstead Heath 15 mins on the local overground train which also takes you swiftly and regularly to Camden, Kew and Richmond in one direction, Islington, Hackney and the Olympic Park in the other.
