We live 15 minutes drive from Leeds city centre: great shopping, restaurants theatres, cinema and galleries. 15 minutes walk to Roundhay Park with its mansion house, lakes, beautiful views, playground and café. The area has a reputation for sculpture: the Henry Moore institute, Hepworth gallery and Yorkshire Sculpture Park. We're 45 minutes from the beautiful Yorkshire Dales and all that it offers. To the West is Haworth and the Moors that inspired the Bronte sisters. To the East are the North York Moors with its dramatic coastline and the town of Whitby that inspired Bram Stoker's 'Dracula'. The walled city of York is 40 minutes drive. We are well situated to visit London or Edinburgh. The drive to either takes 4 hours.
