Lovely 5 Bed home in Lille-Hellemmes, France

Our house is very close to the center of Lille, in the North of France, which is a 1.5 million metropole close to Paris.(We are at 2 min walk from the subway station, 6 min ride on subway to the center and central train station).

Lille itself is a lively city with very nice architecture and plenty of cool bars, shops and restaurants and also a lot of culture (museums, theatres...).
What we also appreciate is that we can easily go to the cities of Paris (1hour), London - England (2 hours), Bruxelles - Belgium (35 minutes) by TGV-Rapid Train for just one day. You can also go on a trip to Germany for one or two days (K?ln - 3 hours by car). We think that Lille is a very good starting point for discovering Europe.

Our house has plenty of room, 230 square meters, 5 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, one playroom, 2 bathrooms,a laundry, a nice terrace and a garden. There is everything you might need if you travel with young or elder children (we have still got lots of toys and games) and we can borrow for you what might be missing. Just let us know!
Up to six adults should also be quite at ease (and find a lot of books, CD, DVD and tourist guide books which might interest them).

In our immediate neighbourhood you can find shops and a nice food market just behind our house (Wednesdays and Saturdays) and a little park.
Car exchange can be negociated.

We are a French/German family - two adults and three children (21, 17, 13) and we also like to get into contact with people. We used to be members of SERVAS international hospitality exchange organization.

If you wish, you could come to our house one or two days before we leave (the house can sleep 10 people for a short period). So we could help you to prepare for your holidays.
