This is a small, comfortable house on the edge of Bristol with nice helpful neighbours. This is a good base for exploring the West Country of England. It is 5 miles to centre of Bristol and 8 miles to the gorgeous Georgian city of Bath. A cycle path 1 minute away runs through pretty countryside to Bath (1 hour ride) with a couple of pubs on way. Bristol has waterfront, museums and Brunels historic suspension bridge.

One hour drive takes you to Stonehenge, Glastonbury, Wales, Mendips and Cotswold Hills (typical English picturesque walking country). There are a large number of National Trust properties within one hour. London is 2 hours away on train. There are good motorway links for London, Wales, Devon and Cornwall.
