Chapel House

Chapel House underwent a major renovation three years ago and is a charming 1800s white house with a lovely big garden. We have three double bedrooms, a twin and a nursery with cot and a child`s bed.

The house is in the village of Crathorne, a lovely village nestled on the edge of the North Yorkshire moors. Ideally located for long, beautiful walks, trips to the farm (which we run), drinks in the cosy village pub and exploration of Yorkshire`s finest sites, such as Whitby and York.

The house itself is extremely homely with open fires,two wood burners, plenty of space, an aga to cook on and all modern facilities for easy living.

We have an Audi A4 estate which we would be willing to loan out.

About the location

With the North Yorkshire moors and Cleveland hills on one side and The Dales to the West, we are in a wonderful location for lovers of the great outdoors. There is stacks to do from walking to fish and chips on the peer in Whitby to visiting the home of Wensleydale cheese where all the milk from our dairy cows goes.

Walking from the front door, we have an excellent village pub with great food and some very scenic walks. York is 40 minutes south and Newcastle is 50 minutes North if visiting cities is your thing! We also have a number of stately homes and gardens within easy reach such as Newby hall and castle howard. You will not get bored!
