Our home is a beautiful, light and modern 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom property. Our home comfortably accommodates our family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 children, with the children's bedroom having an en-suite toilet, sink and shower. The main bathroom has a bath and a shower.

We have a fully equipped kitchen complete with microwave, dishwasher and coffee machine. There is a separate laundry with washing machine, tumble dryer and drying space.

We are lucky to be able to enjoy Melbourne's lovely climate with 2 outdoor spaces - a front garden (complete with a vegetable patch!) and a back yard which has an outdoor setting which seats 8 people comfortably. We also have an excellent barbecue for cooking up a storm al fresco. Both outdoor spaces are child - friendly and shaded.

Brunswick is a vibrant, welcoming and friendly suburb situated less than 5km to the North of Melbourne's CBD. It is famous for its fabulous cafes, amazingly diverse selection of restaurants (you can find anything from excellent middle eastern to wonderful asian food within walking distance of our home) and proximity to the beautiful Merri Creek area (a stunning river ideal for walking, running and cycling) - the bike path which runs alongside the river leads to the centre of Melbourne.

Our home is situated in the heart of Brunswick and has several excellent play parks within a few minutes walk and is an area full of young families - as such it is a great place to bring up children! The public transport links from our home are excellent - there are 2 tram lines 5 minutes walk from our house and a train station 10 minutes walk away which takes you into the city in 20 minutes.

Another local attraction is CERES environmental park which has a fabulous farmer's market twice a week, a wonderful organic cafe, beautiful plant nursery, chickens wandering about and lots of activities for children of all ages. It is located on the Merri Creek river, 20 minutes walk from our home.

Melbourne itself is a fabulous, exciting, culturally diverse and arty city. It is a food lover's paradise with some of the best restaurants in Australia and a huge range of markets selling wonderful local produce. The Arts scene is big in Melbourne, it is full of galleries and there is always some sort of festival happening in celebration of the diverse and multicultural community. There is also a very vibrant music scene. A short train trip from the city takes you to the beach at St Kilda which provides a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of the CBD. The Botanical Gardens also provide a beautiful sanctuary in the heart of the city.

Our house is located 20 minutes away from Melbourne University.

Melbourne is ideally located for weekend trips to the ocean, mountains or winery region (the Yarra Valley) if you need a break from all that this fabulous city has to offer.
