Our 5th and top floor flat is in a fantastic 1930s-designed block at the top of Camberwell/Denmark Hill, Zone 2 in south London. We have astonishing views of London, with just about every city landmark easy to spot from our front room's unusual semi-circular window and balcony.
Many public transport links (buses, trains, overground) mean you can get to central, east and other parts of south London really quickly.
Local highlights include a vibrant edgy art scene in Peckham, the wonderful eateries and boutique shops of Brixton Village, Herne Hill's Sunday market and outdoor swimming pool (for the brave, like us!), and East Dulwich's lovely curry houses and cafes. Camberwell itself has some fab restaurants, pubs and cafes.
