Three storey house fully restored in 2006, in unspoiled small village in rural Girona, north-east Catalonia. Perfect location, just 20 minutes drive from the coast and the towns of Girona, Figueres and Banyoles and 1 hour from the Pyrenees, France and Barcelona.

The stone walled house maintains all the charm of an ancient house while provinding all the comfort one could expect. 250 sq metres in three storeys. 2 bathroom, 3 double bedrooms, a big studio, a spacious living room with fireplace, a fully equiped kitchen. High speed wifi connection, but, sorry, we have no TV! Ground floor with a large playroom/spare bedroom open to the backgarden.

The backgarden has a nice shadowy place to eat outside, cool and secluded in summer, a small lawn and 12 sqm swimming pool with a safety fence.

Lively small children- friendly village with nice neighbours with a very balanced mixture of newcomers and local and young farmers. All of them welcoming and some English speaking. Grocery shop one minute from home. Typical local cuisine Restaurant and family Golf in the village. Nice walks in woodland and farmland just around the corner.

To get the most of the place, you do need a car. Though in a very calm and rural setting, our village is a very short drive from a huge variety of leisure of cultural and outdoors possibilities: water sports of all kinds, horse- riding, excellent biking, birdwatching, snorkeling, walks and treks by the sea, in the countryside or in the mountains. Skiing in the Pyrenees just 1.30 h away (in winter!). World renouned restaurants, livelly historic cities with charming shops, museums and monuments: all of them 20 minutes drive from home.

Our family cat lives around the house and needs some basic care.

We also have a fully producing vegetable garden, some egg-laying hens, a goat and two donkeys, just 3 minutes walk from home. You don't need to enjoy and take care our flora and fauna, but if you fancy, feel free!
