The house is a classic Victorian terraced house (built 1890) with well proportioned rooms and a welcoming feel.

There are three bedrooms. The main bedroom has a king sized bed and the two children's bedrooms have beds which can be converted to fit toddlers up to young adults. There are two reception rooms (a comfortable sitting room with an open fire and dining area), kitchen, bathroom and a shower room. The kitchen is well equipped - complete with Jura machine to make you freshly ground coffee at the touch of a button - and plenty of toys for preschool children. The house also has a quiet, sheltered, private garden, with it's very own treehouse! The house has all the mod cons one expects - dishwasher, washer, dryer, wifi, DVD, etc - and hopefully provides everything you could need to make you feel at home.

Bowes Park is a small "village in the city", in North London. It is situated to the east of the famous Alexandra Palace (complete with attractive parklands, cafes and boating lake) and near to the fashionable shopping/dining locations of Crouch End and Muswell Hill. There are local shops at the end of the road and recommendations will be provided for local cafes and restaurants (particularly the child-friendly ones!)

The house is a 10 minute walk from Bounds Green underground station (Zone 3, Piccadilly Line) and Bowes Park overground station. A quick 20 minute tube ride takes you into the heart of central London.

Our neighbours are very friendly and family members on hand to answer any questions you might have.

We have a cleaner who usually comes once a week on a Friday. She can come during your visit or not, as required.
