Situated on a palmtree-lined road, the property is a 2 bed, 2 bathroom bungalow-type with upstairs solarium, the lounge/dining area, a good size kitchen with washing machine in adjacent store-room,and the two bedrooms, one an en suite, are all on the ground floor;
relaxing/sunbathing/barbeques can be done in the front,side or on the solarium;there are fans in all of the rooms and A/Cs (cold & hot) in the bedrooms; we have British satellite TV and WiFi internet connection. There are two communal swimming pools and a number of beaches nearby. We have a good view of the Mediterranean Sea both at ground-level as well as from the solarium.

Within walking distance are various types of restaurant, bars, shops and super-markets. The recently-opened Zenia Boulevard shopping mall is a 7 minute drive and is one of the largest in Europe. The neighbourhood is a mixture of British, Spanish & Northern Europeans. Torrevieja,the nearest town is 3km away; Torrevieja is surrounded by two large natural saltwater lagoons, which form the well-known Salterns of Torrevieja.

It is an ideal location for a summer or winter sun holiday with an average of 320 days sunshine each year. It is said to be good for sufferers of arthritis, asthma and rheumatism. The area is regarded by the World Health Organisation as having the healthiest climate in Europe. The population of the area is around 102,000 but can get to around 600,000 in the summer months. Alicante is the nearest City(40km),Valencia (2 hours), Granada 2-3 hours, and Gibraltar 8-10 hours. One can choose either a very active or a very relaxed life-style in Spain for whatever period. There are many Golf courses and water-sport activities.

Currently, on the land across the road from us, two storey apartments are being built, the shell and roof stages have been completed,so most of the noisy aspects have been completed.The new building will not impede on the sea view we have.
