Near spectacular unspoilt beaches

We are situated on the beautiful and breathtaking penninsula of Inishowen in County Donegal, Republic of Ireland, not far from Irelands most northerly point - Malin Head and home to the 2018 Irish Golf Open. Game of Thrones and Star Wars have been filmed in these areas.
Only 1km from the shore front and harbour you can choose your walk in either direction. Just a little further away is our local golf links and many lovely beaches. Kayaking and Horse riding are a few minutes drive away and fishing is possible from shore or organized boat trip. This is a great spot for scuba diving. A couple of restaurants, shop and some pubs are to be found in the village- 1km, with more in Moville, 4km and others further afield.

We are on the very scenic bus route to the Walled City,Derry/Londonderry, which is 20km away. You can enjoy the usual larger shops/supermarkets, historical tours, museums, lovely cafes, theatres, cinemas, go-karting etc. From Derry you can travel by bus or train to Belfast.

Our house is a great base to visit the Giants Causeway and beautiful North Antrim coast. The famous Ballyliffin Golf club is 1/2 an hour drive as is Irelands most Northerly point - Malin head from which you can often see the Scottish islands and mainland! Belfast is 2 hours away with its Titanic Quarter which is well worth a visit.

The area is served by two airports in Belfast plus the City of Derry Airport 40mins. Ferries from Scotland/England in to Belfast and Larne.

We have a solid fuel stove which makes our house lovely and cosy in winter. In summer we get the sun on the back garden/terrace so you can relax and barbeque watching the sun go down. There`s a large green in front of the house which is safe for children to play on

About the location

Beautiful scenery and breath taking coast line with little tourism. Hills and beaches. Lots of outdoor activities such as kayaking walking swimming surfing fishing plus more all within easy reach and Derry city half an hour by car/bus. Car recommended.
