A comfortable, spacious house with large garden and beautiful views down the Derwent valley, situated in the friendly village of Froggatt in the Peak District National Park. The garden has terraces, vegetable patch, BBQ, table tennis, trampoline, Wendy house and swings so would also suit a family with young children.
There are endless walks from the house, and traditional English pubs nearby offering wonderful food. We are 10 mins from Bakewell, Chatsworth & Hadden. The Ladybower lakes are 20 mins away and Sheffield and its theatres, cinemas and restaurants are 20 mins away. You have the best of both worlds. Behind the house is some of the best climbing in the north of England on Froggatt Edge. The bird life is extensive - 35 species spotted from the garden alone. There is sailing, horse riding, cycling, gliding, and hang gliding locally.
