Our period cottage is in a beautiful little village in Rotherham, South Yorkshire (the centre of England). Although it is not in a key tourist area, it is very near Sheffield and Leeds. It's rural, natural, beautiful, safe and peaceful, yet the M1 motorway is 7 minutes drive away, so it's handy for travelling all around the country. The train station is 15 minutes drive away with great connections to the Peak District National Park, Manchester & also London.

The kitchen, lounge, dining room, bathroom & bedrooms are furnished nicely with modern appliances.

There is a country pub a minute's walk away, a cricket ground, beautiful fields and a coppice, and a welcoming community feel.
