Welcome to Sharon's place -

This is a comfortable warm home, with coal and wood burning stoves, fuel provided. There's also oil central heating too. It's a semi-detached house, in a very quiet long-established residential area. My home has a large and sunny loft den with 2 fairly big roof windows; the den has a tv and dvd player, hi-fi and music, books and board games. It also has extra sleeping space too. (Not suitable for small children though as there is an open wooden staircase up to the den). There's a small office room with a printer, and there's wifi too.

An almost rural location, less than 1/2 from open countryside; 6 miles outside city, and just 3 miles from George Best city airport and 10 miles from Belfast International Airport. Close to local shops, cafes, restaurants, museums, golf courses, cinema and city sights. Car available for guests to use during their stay.

I have a few ex-battery hens (fresh free range eggs daily) - children will love them!) and cats - and all are very friendly too - so if care can be provided, that would be great. But don't worry, its not a daily essential - as i can also arrange for alternative / back up care for my animals to enable guests to plan day trips / tours etc without worrying about having to get back to feed them.

There's plenty for visitors to see nearby - such as the European Award winning Titanic Heritage centre, local government and historical buildings at Stormont, St George's market, the award winning U.K. Market; day trips around Belfast centre, museums and art galleries; St Patrick's birthplace in the town of Downpatrick, world heritage site of the Giants Causeway, the historic City of Derry (which was the first UK City of Culture in 2013) And the wonderful cities of Dublin, Donegal or Kerry are only a few hours drive away too.

The nearest airport is Belfast City Airport, just 10 minutes away, with Belfast International Airport 10 miles away, and Dublin Airport less than 2 hours away.
