About us

We have lived in Ealing for over 45 years and love Ealing both for its open green spaces - our road leads into Lammas Park and Walpole Park -as well as its fast transport links to the centre of London.

We travel a lot, short breaks to Europe - last year to to Paris, Montpellier, Carcassonne Edinburgh, Stratford - and further afield - recently to Marrakech, Canary Islands, Victoria Island, India, Tanzania, Thailand and Australia .

We prefer longer stays in places we travel to - three weeks to a couple of months- because we are not tied to a job or family and because we enjoy getting to know a place, to travel within the country and to experience its culture.

We each speak several languages.

We love good food and to cook delicious and healthy food. We’re keen on organic and ethically produced food where possible and discovering new cuisines and ways of preparing and eating food.

We are interested in nature and wilderness and being where there’s easy access to it. And old cities with art and culture, but not too close to traffic and noise!

And we love the sun.
