Our chic, newly decorated 2 -bedroom, 2- bathroom apartment has a beautifully protected terrace with a BBQ and dining table. We have a study and well equipped eat-in kitchen too, plus a lovely communal open air pool, all in one of the pleasantest, friendliest areas of Barcelona.
We are exactly 12 minutes stroll from Mar Bella beach, 2 minutes walk from the metro which in turn takes only 10 minutes into Plaza Catalunya and the glories of the old Gothic Quarter and trendy El Born, plus Passeig de Gracia and high class shopping and Modernist architecture. Excellent bus and tram services too.
We also have a friendly 2 year old ginger cat called Fidel who loves company and would be very easy to look after in our absence.

About the location

Barcelona is perfect for a weekend or week in any season if you enjoy Art, architecture and culture. It is also huge fun in summer as it it's almost unique in offering the vibe of a cosmopolitan city with the relaxed nature of a beach holiday.
Our barrio, Poble Nou, is full of charming, friendly bars, restaurants and shops. People describe it as how Barceloneta 'used to be' before the influx of mass tourism. And the apartment is perfect whether you want to spend every day outside sampling tapas, or whether you want to experiment with ingredients from the local market and a huge range of other nearby green grocers, supermarkets, fishmongers etc.
