Lovely 2 Bed home in York, England

My home in a village two miles north of York city centre is in a retirement community. It is light, airy, modern, quiet, backing onto fields and a stream. There is a small garden with an eating-out area. The kitchen and bathroom are newly installed, both with underfloor heating. Upstairs double bedroom (with en suite), single bed downstairs.

The medieval city of York has many cultural activities including the National Centre for Early Music. The Yorkshire Wolds (cf David Hockney) are close, as are the North Yorkshire Moors and coastal spa towns. Local public transport is good.

London two hours by train, Edinburgh three, Newcastle and Wakefield (Hepworth Museum) one hour.
