We live in a quiet tree-lined area of Giffnock, just 4 miles from the centre of the City of Glasgow - the largest and best city in Scotland...www.seeglasgow.com.
Our comfortable home has a sunny garden, is two minutes walking distance from a train station and close to a host of restaurants and shops. It is a great base for visiting the Ayrshire coastline which is just 30 mins away by car, a haven for golfers and is Robert Burns country (www.ayrshire-arran.com). Loch Lomond is 50 mins away by car and you can explore the rugged islands of Scotland's West Coast. You can be in Edinburgh in one hour. We also live close to the award winning - Pollok Country Park - with Highland cattle. Note that we have already made arrangements for Summer 12 but are looking for a short UK swap in mid October 2012 and around New Year 2012/2013.
