Relaxed coastal retreat at The Entrance

Our home is a large, tri-level, airy town house with a welcoming atmosphere. It is one of only two on the block, with a private entry and light-filled outlook. Upstairs there is a roomy lounge, with the dining area beside a spacious kitchen; three bedrooms, the main bathroom and laundry are on the entry level. The main bedroom has an ensuite. Downstairs is a rumpus room leading to the double lock-up garage. There is a courtyard and bbq area with a pretty garden shaded by a frangipani tree.

About the location

The town house is just a short walk into the historic township of The Entrance, to various beautiful beaches, as well as walking tracks along Tuggerah Lakes and all along the coast. In the town are about thirty restaurants, including waterfront eateries at Fishermans Wharf. Shopping is convenient at Coles at Lakeside Plaza, with a post office, pharmacies, hairdressers, bakeries, ice-creameries, clothing shops and many other stores. There are two pubs in town, both offering tasty food, as well as large local clubs nearby like Diggers and the Greens; the Bay Sports Club is at Bateau Bay and Mingara is at Berkeley Vale. There is a local tourist Information centre at the waterfront.

A few minutes south is Long Jetty, now called the Newtown of the Central Coast, with many cafes, op shops, and funky clothes and homeware shops. There are very large shopping centres close by: Charters Square at Bateau Bay and Westfields at Tuggerah. Further south is Erina with the huge shopping complex of Erina Fair; on the coast there are magnificent beaches at places like Terrigal, Avoca and Copacabana, each with shopping, restaurants and entertainment.

Near our house is a regular bus service, and the train from Tuggerah station to Sydney or Newcastle is twenty five minutes away.

There are numerous activities to pursue: swimming, boating, fishing, snorkelling, going to the beach, cycling (bikes for hire in town), golfing, walking. There is shopping, plus many options to eat out. There is also the local cinema, very reasonably priced. Otherwise you can simply chill out in the courtyard with a good book or your iPad, or relax inside.

The Central Coast has many local attractions, as well as being 1 1/2 hours drive south to the exciting city of Sydney or north to the hidden jewel of the city of Newcastle, each with numerous attractions.
