We live in the village of Wilmcote just 3 miles from Stratford-upon-Avon, home of William Shakespeare. In Wilmcote there is the home of Mary Arden, Shakespeare's mother and also 2 pubs.
Whilst we are in a rural location, there is a mainline station 1 mile away and even a bus stop at the end of the drive.
In Stratford there are plenty of tourist attractions such as Shakespeares birthplace, Anne Hathaways Cottage, the RSC theatre, the Butterfly farm, the Avon river (boating), leisure centre and Falstaff's Experience plus Citybus do a sightseeing tour. Warwick and Leamington Spa are a short drive away.
