Lovely 3 Bed home in Cambridge, England

A short walk from the city centre, our classic 1930's house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Here you can be car free, walking into town in about 15minutes although buses will have you there in 5! If you want to use a car there is ample parking on our street and for longer journeys the train station is near by. Trains go direct to London and take 50 minutes making this a great base for adventures further afield.

The house is light and spacious with gas central heating and the usual mod cons. There are three bedrooms, a family size bathroom and a kitchen-diner. A separate dining room with a large dining table leads onto the garden through double patio doors. There is also a spacious sitting-room with TV and DVD, and there is a guest toilet off the hall. There is wireless connection at the house and a landline too.

Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a super kingsize bed and views onto the street. The middle bedroom sleeps three, with adult size sturdy bunk-beds and an additional guest bed. There is a third bedroom with a single bed, and views onto the street. Our family bathroom has a roll-top bath, toilet, sink and walk-in shower. If an extra bed is needed the large sofa in our sitting room is extremely comfortable and spacious ... with feather cushioning.

There are two resident cats at the property, both very friendly, who would need feeding daily, (but my friend could do this if it was ever a problem for you.)
Outside there is decked area and a lovely big lawn with apple trees, flower beds, a child's climbing frame and trampoline. If you have children between the ages of about 4-12 we have lots for them to do ... Lego, Playmobil, Dolls House, trampoline, climbing frame, DVDs etc ...

So what can you do in Cambridge?

Some of the highlights include punting down the river, swimming at the Lido in the summer, visiting Kettle's Yard, ( a wonderful 20th century art collection owned by a man called Jim Ede, and still in its original home.) Cycling past or visiting the colleges, visiting the Fitzwilliam Museum, the Cambridge Arts Cinema and its lively cafe, the beautiful Botanic Gardens .....the market on Market Square and our various theatres. Farther afield there's Ely, with its cathedral, the Suffolk coast and of course London! Well, the list is endless!
